5 Pointz was a hub of creativity in Queens, NY where graffiti artists from all over the world came to showcase their massive murals and images. This cat was spotted hanging out at a 5 Pointz fundraiser, which was organized to gain support for protection of the outdoor art museum. Unfortunately, a few months after this photo was taken the entire building was whitewashed and all the art destroyed overnight…

Jerry

Currently I am in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. This is Jerry, he lives outside of a condo complex and is cared for by the residents. As seen in the first photo, he is extremely talkative. But, he has an issue with meowing, he is extremely bad at it… it seems as though he never properly learned how to sound like a cat. Despite his vocal challenges, he is very sweet. He spends his days sleeping in the sunny parking lot and getting paw prints all over resident’s cars.

As I am traveling and I will have spotty internet connection I will not be able to post consistently over the next week. But as I travel throughout South Carolina, California and Oregon I will keep my eyes out for photogenic kitties!
